Just a heads up but ralph was our top shooter, just 7 seconds off of expert... he qualified sharpshooter shooting my glock which he borrowed along with the holster to qualify. GOOD SHOOTING RALPH.

Wess your too kind! I had an awesome time with IDPA. Everyone I met in Peace River made me feel very welcome. I am sure I can speak for Ray G and all the shooters in Hay River, Thanks for helping us getting started in IDPA. And thanks for the great friendship everyone! Come on up to Hay River anytime and give us a shout!

It's nice to see those Hay River boys out and about....

....and from all accounts neither of them shot themselves in the foot:rolleyes::D.

Jeez, now that you guys can run IDPA at home I'll have to spend more money....:dancingbanana:

IDPA SO Course

Tim,

We missed you at the course. Both the other guys from Hay River did no physical damage to themselves or others but they did say something about being able to shoot circles around you!:eek:

Never know for sure since you were not here to defend yourself!:D

Hey Wes you have to admit he did the slip and fall routine with a certain amount of grace and kept his gun muzzle downrange to boot.

Not exactly how most would assume the low cover position but it certainly was an effective way to get low....

Falling with grace! It left a bruise the shape of a glock mag which I left in my pocket. If the SO didn't yell "stop", I would have kept on shooting.
 
A Safety Officer course was just completed in Chilliwack, graduating nine new SO's. Should another club wish to put one on please contact the undersigned to arrange dates and times. Plans are to have a course in Calgary sometime in late June - times to be established. No new courses are scheduled for the lower mainland at this time.
