We shall soon be starting IDPA course of fires at the range. Interested parties must call the range and leave their contact info so that we may reach you.

I just got off the phone with HQ. Your club will be listed by Friday on their site. Your club material will be held up until the mail work stoppage is over.

Congrats and welcome to IDPA.

Take Care

Then how can you be an affiliated club?

See page 57 of the current rule book:

Some days its not worth chewing through the leather straps huh ;)

Our CC has given the go ahead, they are working with their club exec.
The OP says for now.
Baby steps...

BTW when is the next match you are hosting?

Wequar has been very helpful in getting this going at Stittsville. I am going to be talking to the range owners and going over things with them. As far as members only restricted shooting, I am sure there will be some leeway for matches and practices, BUT i will confirm this later.

I am looking forward to hosting matches in the near future.

We will keep you posted.

Curious to know what type of facility you have in Kemptville.
Are you indoors or outdoors, or both?
Maybe a link to your club's site?
Thx.

If they don't waive the rule about members only for restricted, your matches are going to have pretty small turnout.

I wouldn't have a problem paying their $20 day fee for practice either. Used to be a member there, but their hours are too restrictive for the premium they charge.

Great facility, so hope you get this sorted out.

I am working on this one right now... I dont think it will be an issue during matches as things are tightly controlled with regards to safety and ATT's. I'm waiting to hear back as to whether or not we can allow non-members to shoot if they are current IDPA members.
