IDPA Targets

I did a large order of IPSC targets last year and could do the same this year for IPSC , Three gun , or IDPA. Since dies are pretty expensive to have made, is it possible for guys in IDPA to start using the new targets now ? It is not feasible to make dies now and re do them in a few months. Please note, I don't want to ship to the east. Cost to be determined on IDPA. I need a final sample or dimensions first. Cheers. Please use email if interested as I don't check my dealer account on a regular basis.

Cerecote you maybe be able to become a retailer of IDPA targets but IDPA limits the number of suppliers of targets and vigorously protects their copy write. We at one time had a supplier here in BC who gave it up due to lack of demand due to the fact, at the time there were only three clubs here in BC. The target suppliers approved in Canada are the ATHL out of Calgary and SFRC out of Kingston.

In Canada, with only 19 clubs, enticing any supplier to undertake inventorying targets is a challenge. They are bulky and shipping can be excessive. With the recent change in target design with little lead time for smaller suppliers it is not to difficult to understand the situation we are in right now. There are 11 outlets serving 36 Clubs and approx. 23,000 members the US and two in Canada serving 19 clubs and 650 members.

If you want to become a supplier of targets vs a reseller contact the Canadian Area Coordinator. His contact information is located here: www.idpa.com.

Incidentally clubs can use the new targets immediately.

Anyone have a picture of the current IPSC targets and the new targets?

Curious as to what the difference is. I am doing my black badge in September so curious what targets would be used.

When did IPSC change the design of their targets? This thread is about IDPA targets.

We just received our last batch of the current IDPA targets. When this batch sells out we'll be switching to the updated targets that come into effect at the end of the year.
