###iest hunting rifle.

Those are some gorgeous guns, especially the full-stocks...but why did you include the photo of the toilet-plunger at the end of the post? :)

I agree about the toilet plunger comment, but the caliber makes up for the ugliness............I always wanted a 50 Bimgee, that's really the only thing ###y about it........650 gn bullet @ 3005 fps and 1/2" group at 200 mtrs.........now THAT is ###y !!!! :D:cool:

Yeah, just yanking your chain a bit. Beautiful is as beautiful does, and stuff like that...:)

I'll admit that if I had a convenient place to shoot a .50BMG (or even a .338Lapua) at the distances it deserves, I'd be all over one of them. :)

I like my girls a bit seasoned. Except my wife of course!

I love Ross commercial sporters like the E-10 and this M-10:

I also think that military sniper's rifles are the ultimate hunter, with beauty for days. Here is my repro No4(T). I hunt with it a lot.

Here's a couple more ###ies for your perusal...........

Okay, that's more like it! Nothing more graceful than a SxS double, whether rifle or shotgun.

Now, let's talk about that photo backdrop for a second, after my migraine dies down a bit...:)

I agree... side by side rifles and drillings are ###y... but I always found it curious that many of those extolling the virtues of a break action side by side will sneer at a break action single... what up wit dat???

I know what you mean. I'll bet that a good percentage of the likes and dislikes we have for this or that style stem from an opinion that was impressed upon us as kids, by someone "older and wiser".

It's like Homer Simpson being asked for an opinion: "DOH! I don't know what I think until television tells me!" :)

Why it's just good old fashioned snobbery Hoyt...................;)

I suppose, as long as the game is incapable of sneering at the incoming bullet, the outcome is the same regardless of the launching pad... The curious part is that a break double is classy, a falling block single is classy, but a break single is "trailer park..." go figure.

Pretty racy huh, it doesn't show up the rifles very well either though. My wife bought it for me for Christmas to line the bottoms of my new gun cabinets, I looks super good there but is a little too much of a good thing in that quantity, I agree.

Cabinets aren't finished yet but this gives you an idea.

You won't be satisfied until poor John is passed out on the floor will you???

For me, it's a toss up between my Ruger Gunsight Scout Rifle, or my Marlin 336XLR SS/Green laminate stock. But I am jealous of some of the beautiful Walnut I've seen posted.

I'm not sure if "###y" is the right word to desrcibe my Barrett M99 ;)

Who says it's trailer park?

Tell them to get stuffed. ;)
