***So let me pose a question to all you XCR faithfuls and please give it some thought before making your honest choice.
***So if AR rifles became NR and AR rifles could be used for hunting, camping and plinking etc. how many of you would choose the AR platform over a XCR-L rifle =$2,350.00 and XCR-M rifle =$2,850.00.
Please know this is not a put down of the XCR, although many of you know what I think of that rifle. It's seriously to try and acquire an understanding of how good you really think your XCR is in comparison to a Top Tier AR of similar value (please be honest
).
This thread is here to also recognize how the Restricted status of an excellent rifle platform is causing these AR rifles to not reach our Canadian firearms owners hands due to these archaic regulations/laws and if these AR's were to become licensed as an Non-restricted they could then be utilized to their fullest in Canada. The loss of this all purpose sporting rifle affects thousands of law abiding and responsible firearm owners daily.
Also this situation is responsible for the loss of millions of dollars annually to the firearms business community of Canada in lost revenues from the AR rifle platform and it's many associated accessories no longer being sold due to the fact these AR sporting rifles are not licensed as a Non-restricted rifle in Canada...
***So if our non-sense Canadian Firearm Regulations/laws were set correctly and all AR's became Non-restricted and were available to be used/carried for hunting, camping and plinking in a safe manner in the back country; would you then prefer to use an AR rifle of a comparable value to a XCR-L (say $2,350) or not.
The value of a new XCR-L will be set at $2,350.00/XCR-M=$2,850.00 and this would equate to:
KAC SR15 perhaps or maybe one of,
Colt Canada's SA15.7=C8?
SA20=C7 with an accessory or two (maybe even a complete CC IUR 16" rifle)?
Daniel Defense M4V7 with Vortex 4-16x44 1MOA Scope for hunting in 6.8spc?
DDMK18 with basic optic/sights for a back-packing and camping firearm?
The choice does not have to be one of these rifles (they are just examples) as you could spend the $2,350.00 on any QUALITY AR rifle you want, even the an AR in the.308 calibre is allowed (that's the direction I'd be going), feel free to spend up to $2,850.00 on an AR-10 (as that's comparable to a XCR-M).
Armalite AR-10 SS Target rifle?
DPMS Recon SS AR-10 Carbine?
Armalite SASS AR-10?
KAC SASS AR-10?
***So what say thee CGN, XCR owners (& others)... Remember even if you do not own an XCR currently or never have please vote, but mention not an owner or owner when you do make your honest choice, thanks all...
Cheers D
P.S. Sorry not very computer savvy otherwise I would post up a little Voter Poll Box. So if this actually gets any interest I'll attempt to Tally up the votes myself.
So PLEASE VOTE either OWNER Yes or No
or NOT OWNER Yes or NO...
Also interested in build spec.'s of your choice if you got'em.

, you'd see much of the sales in under 18.5 come to a screeching halt. I bet our local manufactures would have a field day! There's no way US made stuff would be able to keep up with the demand.
