If I die what happens to my restricted firearms?

The executor of your estate will deal with the liquidation of your assets.
Make sure you have a will, then your wishes will determine what happens.

Yes, having a will in place is very important.

No question, a will is a good thing to have, no matter what your age is, if you have never had a will, get one! I am dealing with an estate right now as executor & thankfully a recent will was in place & is in effect. Makes things a whole lot easier! [No firearms involved, though].

For those of you that have a will but don't specifically have anything in your will mentioning the disposition of your firearms, at least make sure you have some detailed info of what you own & it's approximate value. [And what you want done with it]. For example, a small notebook with a list of them, accessories etc. And values of each. This will give your estate an idea of a starting point for your 'stuff'. Especially, if your executor knows little or nothing about them.

Also, could potentially prevent the vultures from swooping in & scoring big after your untimely demise.

Just wondering what the process is, so my family will know what to do in the event. Hopefully I'll be old and gray and my kids will have rpals and be able to take posession. But right now their both under 10. This has probably been discussed but I cant find it.V:I:V:I:s

Not feeling well?...give me a PM, I'll figure out what to do with them.

What they do is wait till no one is looking. Fully load them and them tuck them in the coffin with you so you will have something to play with

So now instead of "what's the best zombie load?", we have to start thinking about Devil & demon loads, and will lead shot melt so better go with tungsten?

Do Prohibits get destroyed or put into service, or into a museum? I heard of a case of Prohibits/Restricted not being where they should have been. (Not Anywhere) after some elderly folk had passed.

Are you married or in a live-in relationship? If so, get your woman to get her RPAL. Otherwise, the RCMP will do what they love most - take guns out of civilian hands. But it's probably best if you just don't die. It's not that tough, billions of people don't die everyday.

OMG, that is the single best sentence I've see in my life.

Mine all go to a friend who is also a member here the minute I kick off. He will look after selling all my firearms for a good price and then give the cash to my wife and son.
