Russian AK-74 (and all the cheap flood of unrestricted, dirt cheap 5.45x39 we would get literal mountains of!)
And an AR15 A1 clone with a 20" pencil barrel again. I know I can one now but the restricted status makes it a pain in the #### and I barely have time to get to my club more than 2 times a year as it is.

You're setting your sights too low. Wouldn't you like to be able to shoot them anywhere a NR could be shot, like in the good ol' days.

The C1A1 was restricted before C-68, the HK91 was non restricted and advertised as a modern hunting rifle back in the day.

I would start collecting AKs and variants if they werent prohibited, 47s, 74s, RPKs, Galils, sakos, the whole schmagoygle. For now, Airsoft has to suffice. *sob*
