The M14 is "close", but it doesn't have the nostalgia of the FN for us Kanucks!!! Always makes me shake my head when I think about us not being able to shoot or own an FN, but we can "trick out" an M14 and it doesn't change it's classification... i.e. just add the pistol grip!!!

I wasn't born too late just didn't have much money as a kid... They were liquidating these things when I had an FAC I just couldn't afford the storage....

It would have a huge effect, but it's almost impossible to get that sort of momentum. The last time CGN really mobilized was after Martin proposed the handgun ban, and even then it was probably only a couple hundred guys who wrote letters.
 
$569 for an FN in "good" condition seems a trifle high to me. Here is a crappy pic of my Enfield L1A1 that I bought from P&D in Edmonchuck. I would give her a "very good" condition rating, and I got it for $400. Of course, the bayo, BFA, cleaning kit, mag charger, and extra mags were not included. One 5/20 mag was.

Nope, it's the Liberals fault for the 12(x) designations, they came up with this foolishness all by themselves.

The Conservatives were responsible for putting rifles like the AK and AR on the restricted list, the FN was already restricted. It's because of Alan Rock and Annie that I cannot shoot my toys.:mad:

Oops...sorry about that:redface: . There sure weren't many political folks on our side in the early '90's were there?
