If the deer can walk there I can right?

Big Bear?
Looks like you blew a ball joint?
Royal Distributing is your answer.
I just did this last year and found the ball joints aren't replaceable.
I had to replace the complete control arm.
Royal Distributing was about half what Yamaha wanted.

Yes, I've been in there before. I can by both sides from them for what the dealer wants. Price from the dealer for the A arm and the diff seal was just over $200 so really not bad either. He wanted over $1000 for a stator assy last year, found it online for $50 off ebay. Says it's new, and looks like it's better insulated than the original.

Here's the ball joint "fix" as it sits in my garage at present

note, if you ever have to do this be very careful of your brake lines, and put the wire as far to the outside end as possible, or the wheel oscillation will break/stretch it. Note that the wire does not go over the upper A arm, that oscillation is why that is so.
