If we could only own 5 rifles and one shotgun, what chamberings would you choose?

12 ga.
.22 LR.

7x57
.30-30
9.3x62

The last one I'm going to leave open, because I suspect there will be at least one more large bore in my future. If money were no object, it would be a double .470. Since money is an object, it will likely be another .458 or a .416. Just haven't found the right one yet.

All three of the centrefire rifles listed above could be replaced with a .30'06, but where's the fun in that.

Apologies, I am cheating, there are too many choices, I went with what I already have or want to have.
20 gauge
22lr
7 08 or x57 or 6.5 ?[as in Creedmoor, x55, 260 rem,]
6.5x300 or 7mm mag or 270 win
300 wm or 338 wm
375 or 416 Ruger or 375 h&h or 416 rm

I’ll play!
So 22 is a no brainer, then 7x57 (or 7x64r in a single shot, but then the rest is almost irrelevant), 30-06, 9.3x62, and something a bit bigger like a 450/400 or 416 Rigby…. All of that in classic style walnut stock deep blue metal open sights QD rings nice light fix 4 scope on some and low variable like 1.5-5, 2-7 or 2.5-8 on others… ideally with a #1 post reticle and gloss finish!!
And a 20 or 12 gauge pump or over under of decent quality!
That would do it for me… I reality I’m happy with what I have! But I would t mind a big bore!

.22 - Browning buckmark rifle & custom 10/22

I can't pick just 5 +1..

You didn't clarify if we are limited to rifles our government hasn't banned.. I will assume for this exercise that I can have ANY rifle in ANY cambering.
Most of my choices are based on ammo availability the 50BMG is just for kicks..

Should have made this a poll, see what the most popular ones are by percentage. I think 22LR is on everyone's list.
