Pierre needs to figure out how to get the female voters to turn conservative. The only people I know of that voted liberal are females aged 40+. I've asked them and they all say they dont like Pierre. I dont understand what the problem is with him?...its probobly because his wife isn't white...

My parents also bought a 4 bedroom detached home for $120,000 in Calgary back in the day, some things are never coming back and a non restricted AR15 rifle is one of them, you won’t even get restricted status.
It's because that cohort aren't particularly logical creatures. You could ask them "What makes Carney more likeable?" and they likely would waffle on an answer. The simple fact is, they say "I just don't like him" because they can't actually think of a good reason to not vote conservative other than that it's against their imagined consensus.

I had an eye opening conversation with a guy working behind the gun counter at Cabelas this week.
After giving poor hunting rifle recommendations to a noticeably dissatisfied South African couple, he admits that he's never been and has no interest in ever going hunting.
Then out of the blue, he goes on to advocate for Carney, saying Pierre is a liar and has no policies for Canada and wouldn't even get his security clearance (I love that line from the elbows up crew). He went on to laugh and say with a big smile on his face, "I'm golfing more these days, who cares about guns anymore. And you know, I always laugh at all these right wingers, coming in here, saying Pierre was going to win, bla bla bla. Well... I guess he didn't win, did he? Ha ha ha. We needed a change of government badly, without a doubt. And Carney is the change that we need here. I am looking forward to see what he does for the country and to fix our economy. Time to give the guns up".
After that, he launched into the typical, out of proportion and highly reactivate anti USA / anti Trump rhetoric, that he no doubt is just regurgitating the talking points from the MSM on and I just did not have the heart to break it to the little guy that he is literally employed by an American company and that American company is putting food on his table, as he's saying all this... you really can't fix stupid.

I have had nothing but unfortunate experiences with the dudes behind the gun counter at cabelas. (Nanaimo).
Its never been political but it has been routinely misinformed and erronious information and i have to bite back commentary when I hear them winding up on someone less informed when they think they have landed a whale.
I have never experienced that in any of the smaller shops i frequent.
They have also told me they had powders in stock when I called ahead and then when I showed up (2hr drive) they said it must have been a mistake. The shuffly way they handled it made me suspect they had smeagoled a couple of lbs aside for a buddy or themselves between my call and when I arrived.
My motto when I was in retail was to always assume the customer knew the answers to the questions they were asking until proven otherwise.
Im happy to steer clear.

He sounds like a real asset for that store. Kinda hypocritical that he makes his living off the back of the firearms industry but he is happy to give it all up.
He deserves where Carney and his band of Donkeys are taking the country, it is a shame the rest of us have to go along for the ride.
