For those of you who are heading for Africa on a hunt, Just a word of Causion.
I seen on Wild tv some "expert" got footage of a cobra attacking a Puffadder.
The host commented on the Puffader being a slow snake, what utter bull####!!
I have seen a Puffy strike a frog and well to be honest I didn't see it the one minute the frog was next to it the next thing I knew it was in the snakes mouth!
Puffys look slow seeing as they are a short fat snake but belive me they are fast.
They are also extremely aggressive bastards and they are the species that bite the most people in Africa.
I once stepped on a Black mamba it didn't stike and sailed away like hell was chasing it. I of course jumped about 5 feet in the air and used the lords name in vain excessively. If that was a Puffader it probably would have bitten me.
Please be carefull when it comes to snakes over there and don't listen to the "Experts" when they tell you it ain't poisonous cause they are wrong sometimes in Id-ing snakes (seen this happen too both the Idiot who listen and the expert was bit by a mildly venomous snake they both had hands the size of baseball gloves for a couple of days)
Be safe out there.
