If you could hunt any game in the world, where, and what would it be?

An acquaintance has all of these in his trophy room except for the lion and water buffalo, plus a few that you don't mention. Grand Slam (4 North American Sheep) & Super Slam (12 World Sheep species). The Grand Slam sheep also make the 700 club. Plus African plains animals. If he gives me permission, I will post pics of his trophy room (uhh... house).

I can tell you African hunting is a drug - one little taste and you want more and more. I've done it, I'd love to return, but I'll be an old man before I can afford it again, and by then who knows what opportunities will still exist. The hunt was in July and the trophies have only now reached the taxidermist for just under $2K USD.

Closer to home, I think a Dall sheep hunt before the hills get too steep might be in order.

Driven birds in Scotland preferably on the Glorious 12th. Then a quick hop down to Spain for some perdiz and over to Eibar to visit some friends and order a gun.

Driven birds, single-malt, perdiz, Basque food, tinto and a new sxs. :dancingbanana:

Waterfowl - from the prairies down to Texas

Grand Slam Turkey Rios in Texas, Merriams in Nebraska, Oceola in Florida

Moose in the Yukon

Caribou NWT and Quebec

Elk anywhere in B.C.

Been Roosevelt elk hunting on the island twice, now anywhere in the interior, South, East or North would be nice.
Such a good eating beast!

Dall sheep and mountain goats in Alaska or Yukon. Actually all 4 species of NA sheep.

Pheasants in North Dakota

Speed Goats (Pronghorn) in Southern Alberta (haven't gone after them yet)

Elk anywhere in the Rockies BUT with nobody else around for at least 2 drainages in either direction LOL
