Without a doubt my Sig 228, it would have been my 226, but since recently getting this 228, there is no question. It is the perfect size to carry both concealed and open, it is super accurate, extrmemly reliable and it is just a fantastic gun in my hand.

fits big hands (get the compact if your hands are not big)
ease of use- slide, safety features, slide release, mag release
1.5" groups @15 meters, 1st time out of the box
undisputed stopping power with our without (unreliable expanding) hollowpoint
flexibility to shoot almost any competition ppc, ipsc minor or major
one of the best pistols in the world
reliable and good service (unlike Sig)

This used to be extremely easy for me to answer and for many years I would have said my Colt Delta Elite 10mm.
I now would have a hard time deciding between the D/E and my Glock 20 10mm with it's 22lr AA conversion kit and glock tactical light.
Accuracy of the D/E is far better but the G20 is far more reliability.
The G20 is far more weather resistant as well.
