Well we have done, "if you could only have 3 Calibers", "If you could only have 3 Guns", now its time for one for the reloading section.
I was looking through my load book thinking of trying a new load in 9mm, and I noticed myself looking for powders that could be used for many different bullet weights I might consider using as well as any different calibers I might load for and I got to thinking, if I could only have 3 powders what would they be?
so if YOU could only have 3 powders what would they be? Now of course with the current shortages maybe you can only find 3 powders:rolleye
so Post your favourite/top/only 3 powders you would choose if that's all you could have! also feel free to explain why!
ill start:
Varget
Win 231
Lil Gun
im newish to reloading and only load .303, 9mm, and .500 S&W so far so my choices are fairly obvious. Varget has worked great in the .303 British, Win 231, a fairly standard and good powder for many common pistol cartridges, and the Lil Gun, for my .500, only powder I have for it and I haven't got any loaded rounds together yet (for anyone who read my LEE die set thread) but the data looks promising.
