Game time decision.......................either my Custom 700 mountain rifle in .308win (5.5lbs loaded with scope) or my Howa 300winmag SS/Synethic as my main gun, and my RUGER .375 Ruger Alaskan as my other choice. Shotguns and rimfires be damned, if I only get to keep 2, they both will go "Boom".

Just for the hell of it, if you could only have two calibers/hunting rifles what would they be?

I am going for light-medium to heavy game to 400 yards and after buying, trying and selling a hell of a lot of rifles, decided to go with a new Mark V Accumark 7mm Rem Mag and Model 70 Extreme Weather 338 win mag.

What two would you use?

234 Penguin in a 700 Rem long action with a 26" tube, custom AAA wood stock and for everything else a 340 Wby or 375 H&H in a Sako Safari A IV.

Brian exactly the reason the Blaser rifle started to be so popular in Germany then in many other European countries where they limited the number of rifles you can legally possess.

I'm not too deep in but I got what I wanted for an everything for me single gun; picked me up a nice 300WSM Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather. With the muzzle brake it's not too big and not too small for me. Throw in a trusty .22 if I have to.
