If the anti gunners get rid of pumps and semis as they have in other countries, what would be your all-arpund go-to hunting shotgun?
I'd pick a double barrel side-by-side as I've always like the look and feel of them - although I've only shot clays with them, and not very well.
If I couldn't afford a double barrel I'd shoot a single. Bolt shotguns are fun, but the Mossberg clip-fed series are too slow to reload, and I'm not sure if the older models with tube mags, like the H&R 348s and those old cross-bolt shotguns (which are fast to shoot, supposedly) are safe for steel.
