If you had 3 choices.....which of these 3 22's would you choose

Walther OSP .22short
Ruger Mark I with bull barrel
Vostok MCM Margolin

I know they are odd choices ive put up but im looking for advice prior to purchasing ONE of these 3.

My ruger is indestructible. Its as accurate as all get out. And replacement parts are easy to find and readily accessable.(not that you'll need them, but clips, springs, etc are easy to get, not so much for the other two)
I've only shot a Margolin and the Ruger of your choices, but the Ruger is the only one that feels like a gun. The margolin shot really well (no better than the ruger, but the grip feel made it feel odd in my hands. Its just that if your hand isn't ideal for the grip shape, your always gonna feel awkward shooting it. Get the Ruger. Get the Ruger. Get the Ruger. Get the Ruger.

I would pass on the Walther; .22 Short ammo is more expensive and less common than .22 LR. In addition, these pistols have been obsoleted for their intended use by rule changes for ISSF Rapid Fire Pistol.

Either the Ruger or Margolin are good pistols, but I would lean more towards the Ruger. Parts, magazines, and accessories are more readily available and they won't feel as "whippy".

For the cool factor I was gearing towards the Walther...for the odd ball side of it I was looking at the MCM but for durability wise I was going to go with the Ruger MKI anyways. Just needed some guidance thats all. Thanks all for your inputs. Ruger wins :D

The Margolin mcm is a fantastic pistol. It is easy to disasemble and it's accuracy is outstanding. The Russian olympic team when these were used could do no better in the way of a pistol. Mine will feed any 22lr ammunition and will shoot better than my Walther once i started using SK standard.
