There is nothing "special" here. I found a set up that I thought worked well and figured I would share it. I thought it may give someone an idea, inspiration, or an option if they are looking for a case prep station.

Thank you. There are 100 different ways to do it and it is always interesting to see the way other do it.

I never used the Frankford unit, I'm sure it works great as well.

Looks like a great station! I reload hundreds of rounds at a time and process 223brass by the hundreds as well, I had looked at stations like the Lyman above for quite some time, and just came to the conclusion that it would still be too painful for me. I have a Dillon trimer setup for my 650, just waiting for cash to get the swage it swager and I will be loving life again. I love handloading, but god do I hate processing large volumes of brass, my setup makes it painless and is plenty accurate enough for me! I wouldn't mind a station like this if I was loading lower volume!

The quickest way is to have a Giraud setup for each caliber and then have the bushings for each cartridge. 10 seconds to change the bushing!!

The gold base Forster trimmer has a 3 in 1 deburr trim head. One pass, 3 operations are done... and it is very precise and adjustable.

I have used many different brass trimers over the years. They all have their merits. I have used a Lyman Ez trim kit that is very inexpensive and does work. The all in one powered stations work good but can be a little slow depending on how much brass one has to trim. If I have a lot of brass to trim the WFT trimer is outstanding. I chuck it to an old plug in drill and clamp it in the vice on the bench. 10 - 20 cases trimmed per minute is not too hard to do.

Another vote here for the giraud. I was toiling away with my manually operated rcbs trim pro forever. Loading mostly.308 and 6.5 creedmoor. As soon as it was time to get into.223, game over. Bought the giraud for all three caliber and won't look back.

I'm too cheep, so I repurpose stuff. The deburring tool is just the standard rcbs hand tool. I just loosen the set screw and flip it over to do the inside.

I use the same hole in my welding table for annealing. I had the cordless screw driver for years before I figured out a use for it, got it as a gift. I use my knee to turn it on so both hands are free.

For trimming I use a drill press and typical rcbs trimmer. Fast, easy, accurate enough.
