So, I think it is about time that we be able to take two firearms while hunting. i.e. a rifle and a shotgun. The reasons for not doing so is not well know but I suspect it is along the lines of decreasing poaching. Once again, all hunters are getting thought of as illegal poachers.

I have contacted the minster by mail and have started the phone calls. I have started an online petition for what it is worth. I have signed up on pretty much every outdoors and hunting website on the eastern seaboard to try and increase support. I will bring it to Facebook and everywhere else I can.

The link to the petition is here,

If you hunt and you feel this law is one of the many that should be changed please put your digital signature on the line.

Thanks All.

I see no reason why newfs should carry two hunting rifles.
Where is the counter petition?

Two hands - Two guns. Season is open for multiple species that require sparate cals/g. Having shotgun for backup while calling coyote is a safeguard to not end up as coyote supper. Coyote are a lot bigger out east.

That's interesting as usually on an island the creatures get smaller and dumber due to inbreeding.
Would you please tell us more about these giant coyotes.

It is true our coyotes carry some extra mass compared to others.

I think Pine was talking a shot at all the Island's inhabitants.
