If you only rifles chambered in 2 cartridges, what would they be?

.22 & .308
I'd have to say 5.56 NATO and 9.3x62. Even with a .22LR and my love of 7mm-08 I like the thought of being able to use current military ammo should I be forced to and the long range good 5.56 loads have. Anything that 9.3mm won't take down, well, even a 375 H&H is still going to have a job.
yup.. solely based on performance and wide availability of ammo

I think I could live quite happily with just my .375 Ultra, which shoots cast bullets at 1200 fps, 270 gr jacketed bullets at 3000 fps, and 380 gr bullets at 2350. But seeing that the game requires a choice of two, I suppose the second would be my SAKO .222 magnum.

If you read the beginning of the thread there was a presumption that everyone would own a .22lr so it was asking for 2 centrefire cartridges. In light of that would you keep your 308 and add a smaller or larger cartridge (say 204/223 or 35 Whelen/375H&H), or would you go for 2 different cartridges with more space in between (243/25-06/260 & 338 Win/375 H&H/45-70)?
