I borrowed one at a clinic but I found I needed one of my own later. I could drive for about 40 mins & borrow one again but with the round trip to pickup and return that sounded like a lot of time & gas.

I went to Cambodian tire & picked up a cheap ($15.00) pair of 6 inch welder's vise grips.

I got the dremel & grinder going and found that the steel was surprisingly soft...just like you would expect from cheap tools. I found I could work just as fast with a 10 inch file (it was that soft!!) as I could with a dremel.

Anyway, took me about an hour and worked perfectly on the first try.
