What would you buy?

I want to buy an air rifle and in the past few days I've realized that the choices are nearly as unlimited as fire arms. So I have a $1000 budget and PAL. With those two in mind, what would you buy if you were to only buy 1 rifle?

I've looked at a few to give you an idea: Benjamin Marauder, FX T12 and Weihrauch 97K. I like all 3 but I am open to any other suggestions you might have.

Thanks.

I used to have a Weihrauch in .177 and loved it but the next one I buy will definitely be .22 cal. When you hit a Ruffed Grouse with the .177 at 1000 FPS they can fly quite a few yards before they realize that they are dead. When you hit them with the .22 cal they go down right now. I did kill a muskrat at 35 meters once with my .177 right in the melon. When it comes to air rifles I am a believer in "you get what you pay for". I would spend the extra money on German make.

I think for me it would be this CZ s200. It's just a bit accurate, light weight, gets 60 or so shots on a fill, and is easily filled to 180bar with a pump. With this in mind, I'd have a backup/second, and that would be my HW50s. All the same as the CZ without the need to be filled.

I'm going to check this one out.

Air Arms TX200

That's another one I've looked, the carbine version?

Used Theoben Rapid 7 MK1 or MK2

7 or 12 shot mags, bottle holds enough air for 500 shots at 12ftlb or around 40 shots at 20ftlb in .22

My old MK2 from days in UK, i still have the MK1

The CZ S200's are pretty nice but I'd probably just go with a nice Weihrauch springer like any of the 97K models or a 77K.
.177 or .22 both are nice.

I'm leaning towards the PCP guns right now mostly because you can shoot more than one pellet per fill. But I really like the WH 97k.

PCP's are also quite adjustable for power which is nice for going from the basement to the outdoors.
The springers are pretty basic though with minimal maintenance, I bought a mint condition HW77K a few years back that had been tuned up and it shoots very smoothly!
Easy to #### and load and fun to shoot. I have it mounted with a williams peep sight on the back and an HW globe front sight.

I got to shoot one of the CZ made Air Arms PCP guns a couple years ago and it was very nice, lightweight compact, comfortable stock and easy to shoot!
