It appears Bushnell has recently dumped their remaining inventory of new old stock Elite 3500 3-9x40 and 3-9x50 scopes on the market (Multi-X and their excellent DOA rets). A number of Canadian retailers now have them in stock. If you want a top quality Japanese-made hunting scope for under $300, buy one or two now while they last. You can't buy a quality scope with comparable features anywhere else for even double that price. I just picked up one of each for under $500 !!

Thanks for the tip. I picked one up from reliable at $249.99 .... Supplies seem to be running short at other vendors i checked.

I bought one of each!! I think I might buy a few more, what the hell... I'll probably need them in the future. Bright optics, great coatings, magnum recoil proof and Argon purged. What's not to like?

Can't beat that price. Which reticle?

i got a multi-x. I like it better than my Leupold Duplex as its a little bit thicker, so should be great for dark timber blacktail hunting.

That said, i was hoping it would have the same reticle as my dads 3200 .... which i think is ideal for hunting. It has fat outer posts, and very fine inner cross hairs.

I have both reticles, and both serve a purpose. On my primary stalking rifles, I use a small 2-7x32 and a 3-9x40 with the Multi-X reticle for fast target acquisition. On my other hunting rifle, I use a 3-9x50 with the DOA reticle--combined with Bushnell's ballistics app, I can shoot out further with damn good results.

Mount and scopes arrived from Tradex...

Where can you find two quality Japanese-made hunting scopes and a quality Brno Arms mount for $699 shipped?

I'm thrilled.
