Was never a Taurus fan. No particular bad experience just that I was never impressed by the fit & finish nor the feel of the trigger.

I had a Taurus pt99 and it was a huge POS. I bought it new and never had anything but problems with it. Jammed all the time and very inaccurate. Maybe I got a dud, since lobster_pot has had good luck, but I have never heard anyone else singing taurus's praises.

I got a Beretta to replace it - much better gun in all respects.
