Hi guys, I was at the Toronto sportsman show today, and I almost bought a IGA 12ga uplander supreme while I was there. The gun was prety nice, and the price was right too, plus no tax too. The reason I did'nt was because the stock had a couple small nicks/dings on it.

I think I'll try and find another one to buy though.

Anybody have any feedback on on these?

Anybody know of any instock at any shop, that have nice wood on them?

Thanks. :)

I've got one in 12 gauge. I've had it for 15 or 20 years I guess and have fired approximately 2000 or 3000 rounds through it. 80 percent of which would have been target loads.

Good solid shotgun. No issues.

Yes, the wood is plain, but at least it's a nice dark shade and not ugly yellow.

I have a 15 year old 20ga sxs, OK hunting gun. They are a bit heavy for my taste and after 15 years it is obvious why they are so cheep.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this would be the same shotgun as the stoeger? If so, the stoeger gets plenty of favorable reviews. I've had the stoeger uplander deluxe and currently have the stoeger coach and have no complaints with either. Great guns for the money.

Well, I ended up getting a field grade Uplander From Elwood Epps. (Great place to deal with by the way, and one of our sponsors too) 12ga, 28" barrels.

It's the field grade version, with the double triggers, and w/o the recoil pad, not the supreme model. (I think I got the supreme model's wood though)

I'm very pleased with the quality of this gun, especially the wood. I think I may have lucked out, and got a "better than average" stock. Nice dark wood, with some burl, and tiger striping to it. Not that cheap, plain looking straight grain.

Don't get me wrong, if I compare the wood, or the metal work to my Browning's, or Beretta's, it's not even in the same ball park, but aslo the price was'nt either. It is what it is, a "budget beater gun", but the quality is still acceptable to me.

This gun was new in the box, and I had it shipped to my door, including taxes for $476.

I can't really complain at that price. I'm very happy with it.

I'll pop up some pics later on.

Gixer.
