Never would I ever consider setting up to hunt in the same field as another party if the other party was already setup or in the process of setting up. I would invite another party to join us (as I did this morning) if they also had permission and got there after us. These dicks set up after us about 125 yards away in the same field! This confused the crap out of all the geese this morning. We could have gotten lots of birds ha they worked with us, instead we dropped on an they dropped one. Sooo frustrating!

If you guys are on this forum and read this, you used the term correctly when I came over and talked to you, it was in fact a "#### move"
 
There are three groups (if you count my buddy and I as a group lol) that have permission to Hunt a missive amount of corn fields by my place. Farmer said its first come first serve and work it out amongst yourselves. We were there second last weekend. So we set up at the adjacent field. The third group to show up went to another adjacent field. We could see each other but just barely. There were no problems.
 
we set up last night at one of three ponds a farmer owns .we took the last pond as other hunters were using the other two.good calling in our part brought the birds to us and we did well with both ducks and geese .the others nada they were just sky busting.at the end of the night they came by the truck to see how it went. there eyes looked like saucers when they saw our haul. we gave them a goose each to take home and asked them to next time work with us so we could all benefit.they agreed .we'll see what happenes next time.
 
This farmer has similar rules, everyone get along or no one hunts his fields anymore. I offered the other group to hunt with us, they left to hunt somewhere else and ended up too close in my opinion. Not very productive and not at all professional.
 
Well the guys that might have messed up our morning hunt didn't come back for the evening hunt, yet I hooked up with 2 other fellows that were happy to work together and hunt together. Moral of the story, we dropped 5 birds in the couple hours we hunted together unlike the terrible morning hunt where guys wanted to be d-bags...

It's unfortunate that hunters in Ontario have to compete with each other for hunting and hunting access. If I may suggest, save a couple thousand dollars and go to Saskatchewan or Alberta for a 10 day hunt. The law doesn't require you to have a professional guide. The best place I ever hunted was in Kyle, Saskatchewan. The racket from all the birds (Canada, snow, white fronted and sandhill cranes) were deafening. I limited out daily, and that was with a SXS 20 gauge. Seven to ten days of the western prairies will fulfill your season and then some.
 
I used to share a farm property north of Oshawa with another hunter for spring turkey. We always coordinated our plans so as not to have a conflict. One morning one of us messed up. When I arrived well before daylight his truck was already there. There was one ideal location where he'd be setting up but there were other spots which would have been OK. It didn't occur to me for a second to muzzle in on his hunt. I turned my truck around, drove home and went back to bed. There are inconsiderate people everywhere and unfortunately you ran into a couple of them who also happen to be "hunters".
 
Track, it is on my bucket list for sure. My only worry is how to get all that meat home after the fact.

Roncal, that's all my buddies an me ask of other hunters, let's stay in touch and work together, not be a$$ holes to one another.
