I'm a dutchman so I gotta know.

Lead Cast bullets work well out of a semi auto pistol

easyrider604: how accurate do those 9mm home cast shoot? is that out of a semi-auto?

Just wanted to add my +1 about shooting lead cast bullets. I use them in my 9mm and my .40 S&W as well as my .45 ACP... All are as accurate as any plated or FMJ bullet.
Another bonus is that you dont have to use as much powder to shoot them to the same speed as plated or FMJ bullets. To make 170 Power factor in my .40 S&W i use 4.1 grains with lead cast but need 4.4 grain to make the same PF with the same weight of bullet that is plated.

Most of the guys i shoot IPSC with shoot lead cast and have been for 30 years. The only difference is lead cast bullets tend to be a bit smokey due to the lube being burnt off when shooting.
