I've sold all of my milsurps now with the exception on a minty Indian SMLE.

I've re-invested in brad new hunting rigs and an AR15 20" 1:7 H-Bar for service rifle shooting.

My collection has totally changed and I'm buying new rifles rather than used exc+ gear.

What is wrong with me?
I'm supposed to be the Vintage Service Rifle guru here in Terrace!

I used to collect military rifles until the prices got really silly. I sold most of them off except for a minty Longbranch and a couple or 3 Garands which I really like. The only other milsurp I might purchase would be a really good springfield 1903--only because it is the only one I have not owned at one time or another.

I kind of went through the same thing. First couple guns I bought were all milsurps. Enfields, etc. Then I got into modern military and now the only firearm I really care about in my gun cabinet is my 20" Colt Sporter AR15 for Service Rifle. Takes all kinds! Enjoy!

Fortunately I am over that stage.
Started out with WW2 rifles
Next were trapdoor Springfields (35)
Have now been collecting Brit and commonwealth for many many years.
Rifles, MG's, uniforms, medals, badges, prints, handguns, books,etc.
