I'm bored

Actually I'm not always bored.
I was just bored enought to share it with you guys.

Anyhow I actually have an interesting project coming up and I traded a nice SMLE for an equally nice VZ-24 so I'm not bored anymore. Thanks Nick :)
 
Never had an interest in Milsurp. Well other than the MG34, MG42, and the STG44. But those are just cool regardless.

Then a few weeks ago while looking to find a rifle for a buddy to convert to a SVD Dragonov, well I discovered the SVT-40. Yes I know I'd heard of it before but never really thought much about it.

To make a long story short, I have a 1940 Tula, and a 1941 Kovrov. I'm looking forward to shooting them. Very neat rifles. Definitely one of those firearms that was ahead of it's time.

Too true.

I have considered the wall hanger route, and will go that way with it if feasible; if I can find parts for my shooter that are as good or better than the ones from the re-weld. Hopefully it turns out that I can do both in the long term.
