If I get a Norc I still have to change out the handguard, and I don't want to deal with fitment issues when trying to install aftermarket components.. I also have tons of misc parts that I dont have to buy.

Samson MFG rails are pretty good value for the price, not sure the size/length you're going for.... And the spikes tactical upper & lower are pretty nice, those 3 together won't brake the bank, new

I've done 2 "I'm broke" builds. Oddly they became very expensive. Damn upgrades and cool-aid snuck in to the mix out of no where.

Is this a good thread to get some help with a couple build questions? I hope so.

So currently I'm planning a muzzle-to-buttstock AR-15, and I have a couple questions (for now). 1) When I buy a new bolt, do they come with a firing pin or do I buy that separately? 2) will any charging handle work with a piston conversion kit (like the Adams Arms kit)? Thanks in advance.

A complete "bolt carrier group" will include the carrier, bolt, and firing pin.

Just gotta watch the EE close for those "AR Parts" threads. The deals do pop up and the parts have always been good enough for blasting at the range.

There is a Complete CMMG lower on the EE for $375 shipped. Not sure why no one has bought it yet.

Cheapest Lower deal I've seen in the ATI-Omni, for $200 from Lans. It's a poly lower with mixed reviews. I think I want one just for the novelty of a poly lower.
