Im Broke AR build.

I was about to order a custom lower from Motiuk...but decided to get that complete Aero Precision deal from Saskatoon Guns instead. Should be here in a few weeks...whenever the BC CFO gets around to completing the transfer...lol.
 
Yeah, I really wanted my Team Honey Badger patch engraved on the receiver, but that complete AP deal was so good, I think I'll have to wait...lol.

Well good news. The YHM Diamond spectra free float rail was only 5.75 to ship so im very happy. I was supposed to wait until payday but it was on sale for 89$ at Brownells.

Now I have to wait 2 weeks to buy my next part... I hate waiting....

LOL, I know what you mean... I did the exact same thing for my last build. I got everything in small orders every 2 weeks to a month or so, and the wait was excruciating... especially when it came down to the last few parts... as a matter of fact, I'm still waiting on my front MBUS from CTCS.... the very LAST part I need to complete the build!!
 
Yup just ordered YHM 5C2 Flash hider, YHM Low pro gas block, Crush washer and YHM black gas tube. But the gas Tube is B.O.... Hopefully not for to long.
 
Well Brownells wanted paperwork for the 5C2... So I had to order the YHM Phantom 5M1 instead from another source... now I wait until next payday.....
 
I owned a 5M1 before. Its a Comp and its loud as hell. So I love it. I wanted to try the 5C2 based on reviews and cheap price.
 
Check out the ATI Omni Polymer AR Lower Receiver & Buttstock Assembly. It is 100% AMERICAN MADE (not from China or the Philippines!) retails at under $200 and includes the Lower, a sliding 6 position carbine buttstock, buffer & tube, AND a complete lower parts kit. We have fitted Chiappa, Daniel Defense, Colt (MilSpec), Armalite, High Standard, Rock Rock and more style uppers on ours and they fit. They are tight and you need to tap the rear pin in the first 10-15 times and then they ease into a fit you can press in by thumb alone. Mine still needs a poly punch to take down but it is TIGHT on the upper and shoots great. It fits Thermold type and metal mags. (I don't have any MagPuls to try yet.)

These are in stock at The Gun Centre, General Gun In Windsor, and Lanz Shooting Supplies with more dealers coming online.

As a bonus we are importing some economy AMERICAN MADE complete uppers and will be retailing a complete US MADE AR 16" rifle.. We also have established a relationship with High Standard and have got three sizes of their cold forged barrels coming in in complete uppers and will be retailing a complete US MADE with HAMMER FORGED BARREL Ar 10.5", 14.5" and 16" rifle. Call your dealer now. We put the High Standard on the range a week ago and shot groups at 50m that went under a nickel and some under a dime. These guns shoot!

As a bonus anyone buying an Omni Lower Assembly can get their choice of upper for just the price difference. We look out for our customers so get your lower now and then choose your upper. Add an EO Tech or Leupold sight and grab some mags for a whole load of fun at about the same price as a bare AR from some other places. Have an AR CHRISTMAS!

I cant accept free stuff, If I ever sell the riffle I would feel bad.

But I did receive my 63$ bolt from Brownells today without getting hit by the CBSA lottery. So Its a good start to my build.

Well I just got told today Im sent off to Borden on my PLQ in Jan. so I ordered the rest of my parts minus barrel and my total came to 890$. This way I have a something to look forward to when I get back.

So If I can find a used barrel I will make budget... If not I will be over budget by 125 ish...

So 1000$ ARs aren't a myth after all . If I take away my DD sights Im almost under budget. And some of my choices weren't the cheapest.
