I tried Trap shooting a couple weeks ago and really enjoyed the sport. I do appreciate the person who was kind enough to let me try out their shotgun that got me hooked. I am the type of person to have my own gear with my hobbies. I went out yesterday and purchased a Browning Maxus Sporting Clays Semi Auto with a 30 inch barrel. Case, lock and 4 chokes included.

This shotgun is really sweet with the Fiber Optic front bead and really nice looking wood. This is my first shotgun and Im wondering what took me so long. Browning has a little special going on that when you purchase your shotgun and a case of shotgun shells at the same time, they will refund up to $75.00 the purchase of the shells. That will get me started....lol

Very nice! A friend of mine just got one. I am hoping that I will get a chance to try it. Welcome to the clay sports.

Very nice!

"I am the type of person to have my own gear with my hobbies" Me too, I went with a Fabarm O/U though, went out today for my first kick at trap, 15/25 first string, 18/25 second, so not great but I will try to get out again tomorrow for a couple rounds to see if I can't improve on that a bit. Also thinking to give skeet a go late next week (if the weather agrees that is).

Good luck with your new gun and have fun!

Cheers

JEALOUS!

I am awaiting an email to say mine is on its way.

I opted for the carbon fibre model as I liked the looks of it more.

I am sure I will be bugged for that :)

Nice gun congrats. Now if you want to use it for all Shotgun sports. Especially Trap get a Pro to cut an adjustible comb in it for you. This will help you adjust your POI. Works especially well for Trap.
