Keeping track of all the EE sellers trying to gouge the cgn community with inflated prices. I know who you are and I vow never to buy from you.....ever!!!!
There's a few that buy in bulk and sell at inflated prices and I really can't fathom the reasoning of making a few paltry dollars off your shooting brethren. Shame!!!

We are all smart enough to decide how we spend our money. If i choose to pay to much for a gun brother that may need a little extra cash so be it. Last time I looked my name was on my bank account.

I don't think anyone gives a $H!T about your list. When someone is in a pinch for powder because of being unprepared, they have to pay the going rate. If you could find it somewhere else you wouldn't be looking for it on the EE.

Why are you complaining if it's only "a few paltry dollars" anyway?

I have made offers and negotiated lower prices on EE items.
Just because we have to put prices on everything doesn't mean it's carved in stone.

Laugh2............sumbuddy steal yer jammies oar yer favrite pillow?

last time I looked , no one was stuck in the middle of nowhere in a broken down vehicle in need of a 10 cent fuse and the local gas station insisting it was a 100 dollar part.

unless your hunting for sustenance , this hobby is a want , not a need .

if it is too expensive for you ,and you love it that much , use the spare time your not shooting to get a second job .

if a person thinks prices are bad now , just wait until we encounter a real crisis .

if a person has not put something away for a rainy day , consider the last couple years a wakeup call and the days yet to come a opportunity to put things aside for when the real trouble may start .

Yes. they buy in bulk and risk and tie up a large amount of capital possibly for a long time. Are you saying that after tying up their capital and taking the risk with their own money that they should have to sell to you at cost ? also Should the price of ammo go down and they take a loss would you volunteer to reimburse them ?

Define inflated , Should all sellers check with you and get your approval before they post something for sale ?
It sounds like you don't have the foresight nor the funds to buy in bulk yourself.

OP, even when the new powder orders start coming back to reasonable levels you are in for a Sticker Price Shock. With a close to 30% exchange rate difference between the US/Canadian dollars that means a pound of powder is going to automatically rise at least 30% in price and in reality with the effected profit margins likely closer to 35%. That will likely be the story for all reloading components and ammo that comes in from the US.

Ive heard rumors of powder soon hitting $55-60 as the new normal. I thought that was nutz but there are a number of stores selling at $55 per pound. This is a rich mans sport.

I agree, any store that charges a 15% to 20% restocking fee is not a store I will deal with.

Imagine, going into s store and looking at a $3,000.00 Garand and as you hand it back to the employee he tells you that will be $600.00 please for restocking.

Read the fine print and take your business elsewhere !

Making money by selling stuff is called business. If you're comparing Canadian retail prices with American on-line prices or even Canadian On-line prices don't. If you're comparing EE prices with either, don't. One has nothing to do with the other.

Make a list of the ones that don't ask inflated prices - it will be much shorter.

I agree with the gouging aspect but if I were to come across a sweet deal and then sell for retail am I gouging you? Or am I selling it at an average price? Some people take risks and some don't, do not "Paint Brush" the people that take risks as gougers. Some people buy in bulk and resell in order to finance their hobby, instead of complaining and labelling take a chance and do the same. I do not buy at retail then "gouge" I buy sweet deals and pass along at retail or a little less, I then keep the extra parts and peices after hopefully breaking even and use them for my hobby.

Put me in your list. I bought powder then decided i didnt need it. I posted it for $5 more then i paid for it. It was 3lbs. So i profited $15? My time involved in buying storing and going to meet people at their convenience we will say 3 hours of my life gone. Fuel and wear and tear on my vehicle we will say another 2 hours. So i made $3 an hour to sell my powder i am a true gouger. I will buy you a coffee with my profits next time i see ya
