im looking for opinions on canuck shotguns

Especially pump action.

What you guys think about them?

Whats your experience?

They are decent enough. Used to be able to pick them up for about $225, they seem to be at least $100 more than that now, sometimes even more. If your paying $350 for one, IMO your better off going with a Maverick 88. They will stand up to more abuse, last longer, and have better access to parts, factory or aftermarket.

Better off buying a used 870 or 500/590 or any number of other non Turkish shotguns, at least you’ll have oem/aftermarket parts options if anything breaks.

Life’s to short to own a cheap Turkish shotgun.

You can still get a Mav88 for $299 or less on sale. At that price I see no reason to buy a Turkish pump gun - and I own a Turkish single shot, semi auto, and handgun so it's not simply because it's Turkish.

I bought the regulator and had an issue after the 9th shot. The action jammed up. I emailed the company and told them I did not fill out a Warrenty card and didn't keep the receipt. They emailed me a return label and had my gun repaired and back to me in less than a week. It's been flawless since. It is tighter than any of my mossbergs meaning less rattle and less play. They're no Beretta or Ithaca but I'd take it over a 870 express anyday.
For the record 2 outta 3 mav88 guns I bought new had issues right out of the box. Luckily I had spare parts and fixed them myself
The prices have been climbing on the Turkish guns but I think that's a reflection of shipping costs being passed on to consumers
Several friends own and use Canuck pumps and they work perfectly and are much better finished than mossbergs.
My regulator spent 2 years under the seat of my truck in a cheap Amazon gun sock and still looks factory fresh. I doubt I could keep a Mossberg like that for a weekend without rust and pitting.
I got my regulator for $269.99 12.5" or 13" barrel with choke tubes and wood stocks. I find I grab it more than my mav88
