Steel gun guy here, now a Glock owner. I bought a Glock 22 RTF2 new for $599. I wanted another 9mm and used Glock 17s were expensive and not that common. I figured the price wasn't too bad and I could buy a conversion bbl. and mags for maybe $200 and shoot .40 S&W and 9mm from the one gun. I have read the the Glock is best with 9mm so I thought why not give it a go? The gun is in transit right now so no pictures, and who would want a picture anyhow!

There's a support group for that .... oh, you're in it now .... ;>) Lots of fellow sufferers.

"Hi, my name is ______ and I'm a Glock owner."

No known cure, a lifelong condition, or until Harper thee and thy guns do part.

How long was your turn around perid? Mine was 10 months from "I hate it" to "l'll take it"

I was at the range two evenings in a row this week and on each occasion there were fellas there with 9mm. They offered me to shoot them. The first evening was an M&P and the second evening was a Glock. Having never fired either pistol before, the Glock seemed better in the trigger and the recoil seemed more manageable, if that makes any sense! The Glock may have been shooting hand loads as well, not sure.

Great purchase. I love mine. There is nothing I don't like about it, actually. I like the roughness of the RTF2 texturing, and I prefer the fish gills to the standard serrations. If I could find a RTF2 in 9mm I'd grab it in a second.

All the RTF2 needs to be perfect for me is a 3.5lb disconnect, night sights and extended releases.

Everyone needs a Glock, if not a few :)

This.......it's a love or hate thing with the Glock. One side of the fence or the other. I wouldn't part with mine.

Is the actual version of Gen 4 free of all "bugs"?? serious tought on buying one within the NeXT months, ...

There haven't been issues with the Gen 4 for a while that I know of. I bought mine almost 3 years ago and even then it came with the updated "02" recoil spring.
