Thanks Riflechair, that's a nice touch.Peter will be sadly missed. He had 3 rifles and possible bags that he wouldd loan out to kids for one year.
He would take the names of the kids and draw 3 names out of a hat at the last council fire at Heffley Creek.

A very great, kind and gentle man. Always had a smile and a friendly "Hi or Hello" to everyone that came in contact with him. I would imagine that Taylor will miss him greatly not having him beside his lodge any longer.
He worked very hard on the rifle kits, like Nessy stated, for handing out to the new young shooters in the Black Powder Gathering.
His "Wheel Lock" was a masterful work or art with much Silver inlay. And he shot very well with it. It was not just pretty to look at.
There are many anecdotes that have happened with Peter involved along the way that are too numerous to put down on paper, and needless to say, that all of us in the Black Powder Community, will miss him greatly.
Good Luck in all your Future Wanderings in Heaven or where ever the "Great Ones" go, Peter.
In fond remembrance,
Hollerin Harold
