I'm new to the forum and have been looking for a new place to hang out. I found a club up where I live and this forum complements my new hangout.

I used to shoot pistols with my father 30 years ago at the Okotoks Pistol and Rifle Club. The seed was planted back then and I knew at some point in my life I would pick the hobby up again.

I am interested in .22 cal. competition shooting and we have many leagues up here. In two weeks I will be taking the long gun course and I am expecting a restricted course to be available the middle of June. When I am finished the RPAL course, I plan to apply for the PAL and the RPAL at the same time. I expect a long, anxious wait this summer.

I am interested in jumping right into a new Pardini or Matchguns. I am collecting a few odds and ends on the side. I bought an NG 30 scope and a set of Varga 2000 pistol glasses with iris. I am looking for a case now, something similar to a Gun Ho.

Welcome aboard! I'm a member of the Kincardine Nimrod Club, great place, haven't picked up a .22 pistol yet, but they, along with all the clubs in the area, compete in the western ontario handgun league.
 
Welcome to the wonderful world of CGN, I am a member of the Sydenham Sportsman's Association, its a great club for practicing or just shooting for fun but if your looking for more of the competition scene then the Owen Sound Revolver Club is defiantly your best bet locally.
