Just thought I’d share this commercial I came across done by cerakote. Never had a damn commercial make me tear up before but As a guy who grew up hunting and lost my dad pretty young this one hit pretty hard and sent me down memory lane. Now this is how you do an ad . Anyway, enjoy

My dad was born and raised a farmer when I was 2 we moved to Toronto so he could better provide for us.
Being raised in completely different lifestyles we had very little in common except hunting and fishing.

I was 26 when I lost my dad to cancer, 30 years later very seldom a day goes by while outdoors that I don't stop have a seat somewhere and remember the great trips we had.
Still miss him don't think it will ever pass.

I envy, the Sons that had a dad that shared their wisdom of all things wild.
I am proud, to be a dad that shares my passion with my son of all wild things.
I hope that, I will have opportunity to share my passion of all things wild with my sons children.
I pray that, when I am gone my son will continue sharing our passion of wild things with his children and to their children.

May the loved of mine, be the love of his, become the love of theirs!

Very nice. My Dad passed away when I was 17. He was born in 1900, raised on a farm not far from where I live today. Some great memories of “huntin’ chicken” with him. He taught me all kinds of little tricks.

Yup, that one got me. Its been 11 years since my father passed away and not a day goes by where I don't think about all the great memories we shared in the field. I was blessed to have had the father I had. He taught me so much. And as stated in the video, that is his enduring love

Some my best memories are the young me with a .22 walking and hiking the coastal mountains with my dad. Some of my other best memories are hunting with my dad and my oldest son. I miss him dearly, rest in peace dad.

The only thing my dad taught me was how to take a beating and keep getting back up. I'm raising my son a little different. Was shocked this afternoon by how much he's outgrown his compound bow since last fall. Time hunting and fishing with my kids is 2nd to nothing else.
