Can i use my 75 rounds MG34 Double Drum in my MG34? Were these exempt?

You can use 250 rounds (5X50) in the can. Why not?

The belts are exempt, as used in the 50 round basket, but if I'm not mistaken the 75 round double thing does not use a belt. I suspect that if it is spring powered, it would be subject to the 5 round rule.

Do you have the top plate adapter? THAT is the rare part.
I saw at one of the SHOT shows, that someone is making a copy of it.

yeah i got the top plate adapter in the states...kinda really wanted that 75 round drum mag...yep spring follower

Aren't some of those mags exempt by name, like the Luger snail drum and a few others?

Wouldn't suprise me if it is exempt like the Bren AA mag.

You're OK to use it. It is exempt from the prohibited devices category in the criminal code.

(2) Paragraph (1)(a) does not include any cartridge magazine that:

(e) is of the “saddle-drum” type (doppeltrommel or satteltrommel), is not a reproduction and was originally designed or manufactured for use in the automatic firearms known as the MG-13, MG-15, MG-17, MG-34, T6-200 or T6-220, or any variant or modified version of it;
