After giving various CGN'ers a hard time over attaching every new contraption to their rifles, I have gone and drunk the cool-aid and been assimilated. :eek:

I've never been a huge fan of the gack and especially the vertical fore-grip but after getting the chance to try the newest of the new, the Magpul Angled Grip, I found I kinda liked it cause it is a compromise between the vert grip and the traditional handguards. I even kinda like how it looks so I am giving it a try.

Darn right. :) With a bit of trial and error I managed to adapt and overcome instead of throwing all kind of persnickety gack at the problem. That way the rifle works as it was designed with no extra added on stuff to break or malfunction.

There is a small flash-light on the right side but I am trying to stick to the "less is more" doctrine and avoid turning the thing into a Swiss Army Knife. I really like how minimalist it looks right now.

To be brutally honest it has only been used for R&D and testing so far. I haven't even really sighted it in and it has changed configurations several times since new. However it has been 100% reliable even with all the different things we have done to it.

There will be more suppressor flash testing in the future as well as secondary DC Suppressor testing. That one will be a bit more abusive so I will likely fit a donor barrel to avoid destroying the good DPMS one.

The SPEX brake/flash suppressor gizmo. Guess if he designed it I won't get an objective opinion

The AFG's not bad eh, works as advertised. It would be nice if the grip surface was textured like on the MIAD though.
 
Suputin, about your FH: where did you get it and how effective at suppressing flash is it? Grabbed a Vortex hoping it'd be the End All of flashiness.. but not even close.

I / we built it. It is very good at suppressing flash even on short barreled carbines.

Dude, you designed it and you ONLY have 2 - that's not sounding like a whole lot of faith to me

I still had to pay for the production versions that I got. I also have several R&D models as well. So I have like 3 of these things and only 1 rifle.
