I've been wanting a 17 Rem Fireball for quite a while but have decided I'll wait until we get new appliances for our house just to make my wife happy. She doesn't even know of this unselfish act of mine. I'm doing it all on my own. I can't believe how good of a husband I am. I will definitely need a really good scope to go with the rifle to make up for my generosity when the time comes to buy it.;)

I'm just wondering, and you don't have to be specific, age has something to do with this. Young, middle age or old fart like me. If there's one thing I've learned is the trade-off , you know new fridge=rifle and so on. Anyway buy her what she thinks she needs and you'll both be happy. Take care Bill

We are building a new house right now and I want all stainless steel appliances. For a while our fridge and stove will be white and won't match the dishwasher and range hood microwave as we will be taking our present ones with us. I have more guns than I can shoot right now so it's not like I'm giving anything up. I posted this tongue in cheek, but apparently you're too obtuse to realize that.:rolleyes: In the interim, maybe some company other than Remington will build a 17RFB and I won't have to buy their garbage. I was looking at some Coopers, but they are all single shot.

You should have seen the look of gratitude on my Dear Wife's face when she opened her Christmas gifts last year, unwrapped the new vacuum cleaner and saw her very own initials monogrammed on the carry handle ! :D
