I'm just testing the waters here. I love the gun, shoots great and everything. I just need a bigger caliber.... I'm thinking of going back to a 300wsm. I'm afraid that if i sell it, i'll never see one again.

Little confused by these threads, looking for a nudge to sell, or for praise of the rifle helping you to decide to keep it? :) What you have there is an M14 with far more expensive and fewer accessories, better scope mounts, but losing the M14's wonderful iron sights. Sell or trade it, try something new, it's clearly not wonderful for you or there wouldn't be a question. My small change anyhow. :)

If it shoot anything like my FNAR Competition, its definitly a keeper... JP.

This gets more traffic and ''bumps'' than an EE ad....

I appreciate all your info on the matter, i really do. this thread is more for an opinion on the matter. I'm on the fence. like i said, it's a fantastic gun. I need a bigger caliber. if this was a 300 mag or or wsm or something with a little more, there would be no question. But what is out there that is similar, but in a larger caliber?

and the reason i posted here was to get opinions, not a client base. I know i would not have an issue finding a buyer anyway.

well I've made my decision, I'm not going to sell it. Everyone that i talk to about it says i should keep it....even the wife :). I think I'm going to go with a browning BLR 300wsm......now just to find some funds....
