ima sale gahendra martini $199.00

I have one and it is a wall hanger. The rifle is severely pitted from the years it spent in storage. It;s okay if you just want a example for display.

They can be cleaned up pretty well, but it's a crap shoot if you get one that can be made into a shooter, or one the will forever be a tomato stake. Here are some snaps of the last one I restored.

this one turned out well enough to have been shot with mild loads. Not everyone will get that result though.

I posted a full restoration thread with "how to" instructions at milsurps.com if anyone wants t goo looking for it.

gahendra's have handmade parts and each part is fitted to one rifle and one rifle only you mite get lucky and find a decent nepal gahendra but they are still not guns you take out every weekend. Nepal francottes should all be wall hangers. Nepal sinders are hit and miss most have a out of round chamber and the bore can very a lot also these barrels are mandrel wound so there could be a bad weld somewhere

Still it's a unique rifle and they ain't making more of them, so the price will always go up, likely by the time they sell off my estate it will be 3-400% return on investment.

I've imported and restored a half dozen nepalese guns over the years. They fly right through customs - no sweat. In fact, a couple of my restorations are for sale at P&S right now.

What's shipping like from the USA pricewise?

For the prices of the rifles themselves, its worth it even if all I do is reenact ZULU in my underwear

I have kicked around the idea of making one of these:)
