It seems I got lucky a few years back. I found an Imbel in a shop on Vancouver Island. It was a 1911 in 9mm. Model 973, and I did some research on Imbel's website, I had to search for the English language button, then I was good to go.

I could not resist this darling 9mm. Turns out that the only thing missing from this Imbel was the Sproingfield Armory rollstamp. I was impressed by the way this shot. So now I use it for my Service Pistol matches. Since then I've fallen in love with the Brazilian 1911's and bought ANOTHER .45, but this time, a Sproingfield Mil-spec.

I love these pistols. Easy to work on. Predictable quality and most easy to tweak to your liking. :D
