Starting with a strip and assembly of the MD97 by what I suspect is a police unit instructor.
Is it just me, or does anyone else want to slap people for not laying parts out left to right?

Looks like an FN trigger group.
The body cover seems to have both a back plate and a fixed rod and spring assembly similar to a CZ858.
The firing pin has a light spring like the Tavor, to stop floating into full auto accidently?
Other strange notes are 'screws' for the front hand guard removal or did I miss something?
The gas plug, piston, operating rod and spring remind me of an AR180 or a Tokarev.
Still an interesting rifle and another take on how the Brazilians went on from the FAL vs how the Belgians went the CAL and FNC route.
Next up the 1A2.
