IF you want to keep shooting the DE regularly, get a 44 Mag barrel and mags. Swap takes all of 5 seconds, and the 44 Mag is easy on your hands and a little softer on your wallet.

i buy the hornady for 39.95/20rnds. thats when i didn't reload (2wks ago). made up 100 rnds last week, havent figured the cost yet but it felt like it was free :D. at 60 bucks a box of 20 the S&W 500 is pricey....started reloading that too

But I think if you own a desert eagle the only way to shoot it is as a 50 cal,and like I said with gloves its so smooth,no probs,and I think 30-06 .30 cal are comparible in price.I shot a round and shattered a 2x4 in half,
I need something bigger damn it!!!

I got the 44 barrel cause the local indoor range only allows up to 45 colt. No 454, 460 or anything 50 :(

Hornady brass is #### for reloading. I got three reloads at best. Buy Starline and use 50 cal plated bullets, you will be miles a head.
