Imi defense kidon-pistol to carbine

Not holding zero after cleaning kinda sucks :(

Run a patch through the gun, wipe the feed ramp with a cloth, all done while the gun is installed and it doesn't suck all that much. Once every couple of months take the gun out for a thorough cleaning, if you think it is necessary. The Cleaning issue is a bit of a red herring.

The kit comes pretty much complete. Most who buy this will have a tuned pistol already with sufficient mags in hand to play the games. I have about $400 worth of competition parts coming for my CZ Skorpian Evo along with six additional mags and a sling. None of those additional costs need be incurred with the Kit.

A rough comparison of costs assuming you have a decent pistol in hand:

Kidon Kit $600 CDN

CZ Skorpian Evo $1,260 inc tax +$400 for (Trigger Spring Kit, Charging handle, trigger, 3 mags, Competition Trigger, Sling). The additional parts brings my Skorpian Evo to the level of my Kidon kit. The difference being about $1k.

There are several other combinations available to anyone interested in assembling a PCC gun for shooting PCC competitions. It just depends how much money you want to throw at your blaster to make you feel good. I doubt I will shoot any better with my Skorpian vs the Kidon or for that matter my Sub2K. I'll just look cool with a smaller Bank account. LOL

FWIW the Kit came to me tax free from Israel. It also cannot play in the US due to their SBR rules.

ps If you are on a budget and want to play in PCC competitions or just want to plink at longer distances than the Kidon Kit is the best option I have found due to the quality of construction and the fact it really is Competition ready with all the good features we typically want to have.

Here is an up to date list of adapters fir the Kidon kit:

The Adapter #16 they sent me, twice, would not fit on the rear of the kit. Mated fine with the PPQ but not into the rear of the kit. They have since sent me an adapter for my 92A1. I presently have the M&P Pro on the kit.

So is it safe to assume the k6 would fit the p762? Horrible internet right now...

The scenario was the following: an office worker with a coat and a computer bag is walking in a shady suburban environment. He receives a shot and starts running to the cover (he may be wounded or not, but it is not very critical at this stage). Under the cover he finds his battle belt in the computer bag and takes a pistol from the holster (in this case it was a simulation Yarigyn Pistol). As he getting ready, he is constantly checking at various levels from behind the corner, to make sure nobody is coming at abrupt angle. He assembles his second handgun into the Kidon pistol to carbine kit, but a small slide off the rail, allows to snap the buttstock, but prevent correct cycling of the pistol (the assembly of the buttstock in this gun in a stressful situation may be deadly), finally, he is ready to rock-n-roll. The video ends with the office worker realizing that he actually got shot (once or twice) and as adrenaline waynes pain becomes unbarable, besides he lost at least oneliter of blood, so soon he will collapse if he doesn't stop bleeding.

thank you Andrei again. was wondering if you can compare with the mck? and i do think they are the kind of best pcc aside the restriced status of the firearm part.

thanks man, I dont hold mck. These conversion kits roni, imi etc , it is a nice toy unless a firearm carry is really aloud. Some room for th ehome defense, but defense of any sort is regarded a no no in Canada etc Hopefully, next time I have a second person to film this properly :)

is yours holding zero after removing -->re-insertion of the handgun, which model do you have?

I should have answered this question directly. Yes mine held zero using my Beretta 92A1 9MMand my M&P Pro 40 cal.

To the fellow asking about what use it has. I use mine in IDPA PCC Division. The package is short and very adaptable for shooting around barricades either from the strong side or weak. There is a video out there, I believe from the Philippine police demonstrating the kits use. A simple Youtube search should bring it up.

Thanks Canuck44
I use mine for training and it also has a nice feature: same mags! Not like 40sw, 9mm or even 45acp and 7.62x25TT wil be superior to the normal rifle round... but I keep the kit for my younger daughter (pistol+"carbine" combo) as you never know.
It is not suprising, but 7.62x25 in NP762 was on target which I used for sighting and 9mm went like 16inch lower... such a different ballistic (partially due to np762 vs sig p226 rail difference +round energy etc) at 25meters

Different guns will change the sighting for certain. It all depends on the rail height from the bore and of course cartridge and their loads.

The Kidon offers a more stable platform which would aid accuracy and the reduced felt recoil certainly would be better as well. Go girl.
