I also tried a lot of lubes, before I started using Imperial sizing wax.
The principle reason for me to use sizing wax is the convenience of it. Easy to put on and easier still to remove.
But it is not the best I have used for tough sizing. That honour goes to STP, the type designed to be added to the oil in automotive engines. Put the STP on a sizing pad and give it lots of time, like days, to get evenly in the pad. I put half dozen or so cases on the pad, then give them a short roll with the palm of the hand and they were ready to go, except for the usual cleaning the inside of the necks.
This was the only lube I ever used where it was not necessary to lube every case. You can easily size only every other case in normal full length resizing, with 30-06/243, etc, type cases. Enough lube sticks to the die to do the second case in the normal manner.
One time just to test it, I did four 30-06 cases. I did it, but would not recommend it, but every other one was fine.
The huge draw back to STP is the difficulty in getting all the sticky stuff removed from the finished case.
