Imperial Magnum Rifles and Cartridges

Here’s a pic of the load specs that I got with my 338, please excuse my scribbling on there. I had best results with imr4831 and a 250gr Hornady SP flat base, was able to duplicate the velocity, accuracy was amazing, 3 shots touching fairly regularly. IMR 7828 would get pressure signs far too soon. 250Barnes would keyhole after 100 yds, and couldn’t get the velocity up nearly as high.

I got some IM brass but the primer pockets were loose before the first firing. I questioned Aubrey on this and he said to buy 375RUM brass and neck it down. The dimensions were the same except for a slight change in the neck angle.
